Why is the price at checkout higher than on the pricing page?
Net vs. gross prices | VAT explained | Transparent pricing
You might be wondering why the price shown at checkout is higher than what you saw on our pricing page. Don’t worry – there are no hidden fees. The difference comes down to net vs. gross pricing.
Why are the prices lower on the website?
On our website, we display net prices – meaning without VAT (value-added tax).
This is because neuroflash primarily targets business customers, who usually work with net pricing.
At checkout, however, you’ll see the gross price, which includes VAT based on your country.
EXAMPLE:
You see the "Pro" plan listed for €120 on the pricing page. That’s the net price.
At checkout (with 19% VAT, for example), the total becomes €142.80 – this is the gross price, which is actually charged.
Why doesn’t neuroflash show the gross price from the start?
Since most of our users are businesses, it’s standard to show net prices upfront.
Business customers can usually reclaim VAT through their accounting.
If you're a private customer, the gross price is the one that matters for you – and we always clearly display the full amount before payment during checkout.
💡 TIP
You can download your full invoice with clearly listed VAT anytime in your neuroflash account under “Invoices.”
